The crash occurred on the southbound side of Rt. 202/206, detouring traffic from Byrd Avenue to Harding Road, police said just before 2 p.m.
Northbound traffic was affected at the crash scene as a result of the broken pole, according to police, who were asking drivers to use the southbound lanes or avoid the area altogether as repairs were made.
